Adding iSCSI Disk on Nodes

When we click on iSCSI Initiator it will ask to start the service click on ok button. Once we click on ok button a window will open as shown below, go to tab Discovery, click on Discover Portal, type the IP address of the Storage Server (in our case 192.168.1.15) and click on ok button.

Now in this step go first tab (Target), as shown below image, in this screen select the target Server    ( in blue line as selected) and click on connect button, after clicking on connect button it will ask for confirmation like second image as shown, click on ok button. It shows status Inactive to Connected. Now click on Ok button in bottom of screen to close this window.

Now repeat these steps for Node2 also.

Adding Disk to Node1 and Node2

After completing the above steps go to Node 1 and open the Disk Management to bring the added disk into online, for this follow below steps:

  1. Open Run->Type diskmgmt.msc and hit enter button.
  2. Go to Disk Management and here we will see the added disk showing offline, just right click on it and select bring online option and click on ok. Again right click on disk and select initialize disk, disk will get initialized, after that in right side right click on unallocated disk and select Create New Simple Volume and follow the steps to create the new disk.

Again right click on disk and select initialize disk, disk will get initialized, after that in right side right click on unallocated disk and select Create New Simple Volume and follow the steps to create the new disk.

Repeat this step for remaining two disks.

Now go to second Node (Server) and follow the above steps to add the disk in second Node.
